We recommend that you book your flight for arrival at Quito International Airport. Upon arrival in Quito, you will probably want to stay at least one night before coming to Bahía de Caráquez. The only means of transportation to Bahía is by bus. You will need to take a taxi to the Terminal Terrestre. In the Terminal Terrestre, look for the Reina del Camino bus company on the lower level Purchase an ejecutivo ticket to Bahía de Caráquez ($10). There are two ejecutivo buses daily from Quito to Bahía: 12:45pm (afternoon) or 11:45pm (night). It is an 8 hour trip. Get off at the last stop in Bahía. Vladir will meet you at the bus stop. Please advise us when you will be arriving. If you do not arrive as scheduled, ask the driver for Genesis Internet Café where Vladir can be found or ask for a phone.
